WHAT IS THE ROOT OF ILLNESS?

bafaa3dc645ee8cd_82154181_preview

“The  root of most illness is stagnation of the body’s pathways and impaction of waste matter in its cells and tissues. The great naturpath  Arnold Ehret put it this way: ‘Every disease, no matter what name it is known by Medical Science, is constipation: a clogging up of the entire pipe system of the human body.’ In other words, stagnation of the body’s pathway creates a breeding ground for bacteria and viruses to thrive, triggering more complicated illnesses. We can ensure perfect health simply by maintaining clear-flowing internal pathways…,” (Raw Food Life Force Energy by Natalia Rose, pg. 35).

A healthy colon releases 2-3 times a day! That’s what we should all thrive for. How to get a better flow? Eat probiotics and fiber, drink lots of water, eat green veggies, and keep the food natural kids.

DOES YOUR FUEL SLOW DOWN OR SPEED UP YOUR CAR?

When you fuel your car does it go faster or slower? obviously it goes faster. The way you fuel your body should be viewed the same way. When you eat, your body should recharge and release energy. Not slow down and head towards the coach for rest.

Picked up dinner and dessert at Chelsea market this evening. My go to dinner (when I’m exhausted) is always avocado and whatever else I got. Today happened to be yellow grape tomatoes, broccoli, walnuts, and raisins. Topped with my favorite mustard dressing (consists of olive oil, lemon juice, mustard, and garlic salt). And raw chocolate chip cookies from One Lucky Duck for after…. yum!

On our way to a river rafting tour through the rain forest in Costa Rica, we stopped by this organic fruit stand for coconut water! So refreshing….

Coconut water is a awesome drink to take as preventative medicine. It contains lauric acid the same as in mother’s milk. This lauric acid is antimicrobial, anti bacterial, anti fungal and anti protozoal.

How are you feeling right now? The Christmas food get to you yet? Well I recommend you start today with a green smoothie to get you on the right track. And even if you have more of this diary and meat based food to eat, this will help with digestion! Try popping a few enzyme pills too…. Help the body out… This time of the year is rough for the colon🙂

Green Smoothie: 1 banana, water, and a handful of spinach

WHAT’S GERMINATION?

25 december 2011, kl 03:44 Skrivet av Raw Clarity Anmäl !

IMG_0253

IMG_0255

Soaking raw nuts and seeds stimulates the process of germination, which increases the vitamin C, B, and carotenes (pre-vitamin A) content. It is also easier for the body to digest nuts (love that) in this form. You can either buy them, as seen in the pic above, or do it yourself – see times for the various nuts below.

  • Almonds, germination time 8 – 12 hours
  • Cashews, whole, germination time 2 – 2 1/2 hours
  • Sesame seeds, germination time 8 hours
  • Sunflower seeds, germination time 2 hours
  • Walnuts, germination time 4 hours
